Step by Step Selection Process of SSC GD Constable Exam 2021

Stage 1- Computer Based Test (CBT)
Soon after the application window closes, the staff selection commission will release the examination date for the stage 1 of the GD Constable selection process. Here, each of the applied candidates must go through a Computer Based Online Examination that will be conducted at various centers across the country. However, the scheme and syllabus of the examination will be communicated to the candidate beforehand. So, after filing the application, it is mandatory to start the exam preparation without further delay. Because, only those candidates who qualify this stage can move to the successive stages of the selection process.
Stage 2- Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The second stage of the selection process is very important as it tests the physical fitness of the candidate. As the GD Constable job position demands robust and proficient candidates, one must take ultimate care to get through this round.
In this selection stage, the candidate will first go through a Physical Standard Test. This round is of qualifying nature and the candidate must meet the standards as set by the staff selection commission. Stage 3- Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
