From SSC to bank tests, every other recruitment section has at least 10-15 questions from Verbal Ability topics. Verbal reasoning tests is to check how well the aspirants can analyse the information. Be it inequality, blood relations, distance and directions one can easily score in this section will practices. If you solve at least 10-15 questions from all topics before the test day, you can easily crack the Reasoning ability sectional test with ease. Here we are discussing some of the previously asked questions for the verbal reasoning for bank PO as well as the clerical tests.

Verbal Reasoning Notes

The Verbal Reasoning section is one of the best scoring sections in all recruitment tests. Be it bank exams or SSC exams, with practice one can easily score 85-90% score in that particular section. The Verbal reasoning score will indeed help the aspirants to improve their overall score and thereby their rank. Let’s solve some of the previously asked verbal reasoning questions from various topics.

  • In this question, the relationship between different elements is shown in the statements. These statements
    are followed by two conclusions: P≥Q, U>V=W, P >R≤V, U<S
    Conclusions: I. W<S     II. W≤Q
  1. If only conclusion I follow

  3. If either conclusion I or II follows

Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W are sitting around a square table in such a way that four of them sit at four corners, who are facing towards centre, and rest four who sits at the middle of the side, are facing outside. They like three different colours- White, Blue and Yellow. At least two persons like the same colour but not more than three persons.
R sits second to the right of the one who likes the Blue colour. Only two persons sit between R and V who likes
the blue colour. Q likes either white or yellow colour and sits third to the left of the one who sits second to the
left of W. R sits second to the left of the one who likes the white colour. T and W face each other and both of
them likes the same colour. U sits second to the right of the one who likes white colour and immediate right of
the one who likes blue colour. T likes either white or yellow. P likes yellow colour and is not an immediate
neighbour of R. U likes blue colour.
