Associate Professor: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years

Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour	Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology	Masters of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from a center recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology. Five years experience as Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Clinical Psychology. Three Research Publications in an indexed journal as first/corresponding author.
Goa Medical College	Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery	A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 Postgraduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-specialty or equivalent. At least one-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
	Assistant Professor in Allied Health Science course- Medical Imaging Technology	Master of Science in Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized University. Minimum three years teaching experience in concerned specialty. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
	Assistant Professor in Allied Health Science course- Optometry	Master’s degree in Optometry from a recognized University. Minimum three years teaching experience in concerned specialty. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
	Assistant Professor in Neurology	A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 Postgraduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-specialty or equivalent. (iii) At least one-year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution in the subject of super-specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
	Lecturers in: Surgery & Orthopedic Surgery	A recognized medical qualification. Post-graduate medical qualification in the specialty concerned or equivalent. At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned specialty as Senior Resident/Registrar /Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/ Teaching Institution. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Directorate of Higher Education	Assistant Professor in Goa College of Home Science: Human Development Textile and Clothing Extension Education Family Resource Management	Good Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject. National Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Ph. D. or M. Phil. in the relevant subject. Knowledge of Marathi.
Goa Dental College and Hospital	Lecturer in Oral Pathology and Microbiology	A qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the Dentists Act Post-Graduate qualification in Dentistry Should be registered with Dental Council. Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: One year of teaching experience Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned specialty of Dentistry Knowledge of Marathi.
