Anybody who has passed the matriculation/ SSLC is eligible for these posts. Due to a large number of applicants, for the last couple of years, PSC has included a higher cap in the education qualification. From now onwards candidates with Graduation and other higher qualifications are barred from this recruitment process.  Here we are discussing the Kerala PSC LGS Mains Syllabus and exam pattern in detail.

10th LEVEL PRELIMINARY SYLLABUS

• Mode of Examination: Pen and Paper format, OMR Sheets
• Exam Language: Malayalam
• Maximum Number of Questions: 100
• Maximum Marks: 100 Marks
• Exam Duration: 01 hours 15 minutes

Kerala PSC LGS Syllabus 2022

For the  Kerala PSC Last Grade Servant (LGS) recruitment exam, questions will be asked from three categories:

• General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Renaissance in Kerala
• General Science- Physical Science and Natural Science
• Mental Ability and Simple Arithmetic

All questions will be of Matriculation/ SSLC standard. The questions paper will be available in the Malayalam language only.

1. Kerala PSC LGS Syllabus 2022 – General Knowledge

• ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസ്മരം – സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസ്മര കാലഘട്ടവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്പ്പെട്ട രാഷ്ട്രീയ സ്ാമൂഹിക സ്ാംസ്കാരിക മുന്നേറ്ന്നേറ്റങ്ങൾ, േറ്ദേശീയ പ്രസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ, സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസ്മരേറ്സ്നാനികൾ, ഭരണ സ്ംവിധാനങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവ. (5 മാർക്ക്)
• സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യാനന്ത്ര ഇന്ത്യ േറ്നരിട്ട പ്രധാന െട്വല്ലുവിളികൾ, യുദ്ധങ്ങൾ, പഞ്ചവത്സര പദ്ധതികൾ, വിവിധ േറ്മഖലകളിെട്ല പുരേറ്രാഗതികളും േറ്നട്ടങ്ങളും (5 മാർക്ക്)
• ഒരു പൗരെട്ന്റെ അവകാശങ്ങളും കടമകളും, ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണഘടന – അടിസ്ഥാന വിവരങ്ങൾ (5 മാർക്ക്)
• ഇന്ത്യയുെട്ട ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രപരമായ സ്വിേറ്ശഷതകൾ, അതിർത്തികൾ, ഇന്ത്യയുെട്ട അടിസ്ഥാന വിവരങ്ങൾ (5 മാർക്ക്)
• റ്കരളം – ഭൂമിശാസ്ത്രം, അടിസ്ഥാന വിവരങ്ങൾ, നദേികളും കായലുകളും, വിവിധ ൈവദേയുത പദ്ധതികൾ, വനയജീവി സ്േറ്ങ്കേതങ്ങളും േറ്ദേശീേറ്യാദേയാനങ്ങളും, മത്സയബന്ധപ്പനം, കായികരംഗം തേറ്ദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ തുടങ്ങിയവെട്യക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അറിവ്. (10 മാർക്ക്)
• ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സ്മരവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്പ്പെട്ട് േറ്കരളത്തിലുണ്ടായ രാഷ്ട്രീയ സ്ാമൂഹിക മുന്നേറ്ന്നേറ്റങ്ങൾ, നേറ്വാത്ഥാന നായകന്മാർ (5 മാർക്ക്)
• ശാസ്ത്ര സ്ാേറ്ങ്കേതിക േറ്മഖല, കലാ സ്ാംസ്കാരിക േറ്മഖല, രാഷ്ട്രീയ, സ്ാമ്പത്തിക, സ്ാഹിതയ േറ്മഖല, കായിക േറ്മഖല എന്നേിവയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്പ്പെട്ട വിവരങ്ങൾ (5 മാർക്ക്)

(i) Biology (5 മാർക്)

1 മനുഷയശരീരെട്ത്തക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള െട്പാതു അറിവ്.

2 ജീവകങ്ങളും അപരയാപ്തതാ േറ്രാഗങ്ങളും

3 േറ്കരളത്തിെട്ല പ്രധാന ഭക്ഷ്യ, കാർഷിക വിളകൾ

4 വനങ്ങൾ ,വനവിഭവങ്ങൾ,സ്ാമൂഹിക വനവത്ക്കരണം

5 പരിസ്ഥിതിയും പരിസ്ഥിതി പ്രശ്നങ്ങളും

(ii) Physics/ Chemistry (5 മാർക്)

1 ആറ്റവും ആറ്റത്തിെട്ന്റെ ഘടനയും

2 അയിരുകളും ധാതുക്കളും

3 മൂലകങ്ങളും അവയുെട്ട വർഗ്ഗീകരണവും

4 ൈഹഡ്രജനും ഓക്സിജനും

5 രസ്തന്ത്ര്ം ൈദേനംദേിന ജീവിതത്തിൽ

6 ദ്രവയവും പിണ്ഡവും

7 പ്രവൃത്തിയും ഊർജ്ജവും

8 ഊർജ്ജവും അതിെട്ന്റെ പരിവർത്തനവും

9 താപവും ഊഷ്മാവും

10 പ്രകൃതിയിെട്ല ചലനങ്ങളും ബലങ്ങളും
