- Print it or save a soft copy.
Keep it safe. All correspondence with the Commission about your application must be accompanied by this printout, and you must quote your User ID.
Photograph Rules
Photo rejection is among the most common reasons for application problems, so follow these rules:
- New profiles: Upload a photograph taken within the last 6 months.
- Printed details: Your name and the date the photo was taken must be printed legibly at the bottom of the photograph.
- Validity: A photograph meeting all specifications stays valid for 10 years from the date it was taken.
- The notification says there is no change in the other instructions on photo uploads, so follow the standard Kerala PSC photo specifications.
Aadhaar Card Instruction
If you have an Aadhaar card, add it as ID proof in your profile. Do this before applying so your application is complete.
Application Fee
There is no application fee for this post. Don’t pay any money to agents or third-party sites that offer to apply for you.
Documents and Details to Keep Ready
You don’t upload a bundle of certificates at the application stage. But you must produce original documents whenever the Commission asks, so keep these ready:
- SSLC book (proof of date of birth and community entry)
- Diploma/ITI/KGTE/MGTE/VHSE certificate, whichever you hold
- Community Certificate
- Gazette Notification, if the caste or community in your application differs from your SSLC book
- Government Order copies for equivalent or higher qualifications, if you apply on that basis
- Aadhaar card, if you have one
If you receive a profile message at any stage asking you to upload documents, do it within the stipulated time, or you won’t be considered for the next stage.
Confirmation for the Written Test
The notification doesn’t say whether a test will be held. If a written, OMR or online test is conducted:
- You must submit a confirmation for writing the exam through your OTR profile within the stipulated period.
- Only candidates who confirm can download the Admission Ticket, in the last 15 days before the test.
- Applications without confirmation are rejected absolutely.
- The confirmation period will be published in the exam programme and sent to your profile and registered mobile number.
So after you apply, check your profile and registered mobile regularly.
