NABARD Grade A Study Material 2022
Unlike other banking exams, NABARD Grade A requires lots of reading especially on Economic and agricultural topics. Along with usual IBPS and SBI aspirants lot of civil services aspirants also appear for NABARD Grade A. While you are preparing for the tests, you can find lots of NABARD Grade A study materials and NABARD Grade A exam tips for usual banking exam topics like Numerical Ability, Reasoning, language sections, etc. But for the Economic and Social Issues, and Agriculture and Rural Development topics the material is limited. In your NABARD Grade A exam strategy, you should emphasize these two topics, since they are necessary for both mains and prelims.
- For the Economic and Social Issues, candidates are advised to read the Economic Survey of India, gist on Union Budget, Railway Budget, and the Business section in the newspapers. You can also refer to magazines like Pradyogita Darpan, and Yojana to increase your reading horizon. You can find the free PDF copy of these magazines on various websites, and libraries. Before reading these magazines, make sure to read through the NCERT textbooks up to Class XII to clear your economics basics. Unless you are familiar with the terminologies, you may find it difficult to read the above-said magazines.
- For Agriculture and Rural Development, Kurukshetra would be a great companion. Kurukshetra Magazine presents the government point on various issues and will help you in Essay writing. You should read at least 06 months’ magazines to get a good grasp on the subject.
- The essay section in the Phase-II exam does require a wide reading habit. While other banking exams essay questions were on some generic news events, NABARD usually asks questions related to agriculture, social reforms, etc. One such question is “what are the problems to be faced in implementing Dheen Dhayal Upadhyaya Grameen Jyoti Yojana”. To answer this type of question, you need to be well versed with the government reforms, plans, and problems. You can find similar topics or notes in Civil Service preparation portals. They may help you to get a better idea without sweating much on random press notes.
