If you attend every event in town, chances are good that people will recognize you as being someone who goes to events frequently—and they may not take your advice or opinion seriously because of it.
Read Industry Publications

You will be surprised at how much easier it is when you actually practice what you preach (or teach) – and if it turns out well then that’s even better! 21. Read Other People’s Content: While you should definitely try writing some things yourself, reading other people’s work is also very important. There are tons of articles and blogs out there to read – try checking out popular sites like Entrepreneur, Mashable, Forbes and Inc. They publish new articles every day on everything related to digital marketing (and beyond). Reading through these sites daily will help give you an overview of trends in different industries so that you can keep up with changes. 22. Try New Tools: As mentioned earlier, technology changes quickly so always make sure to stay ahead of the curve.
