Tripura TRB 2022 Written Exam Postponed

The written exam for the Tripura TRB 2022 Selection Test for Special Educators (STSE-2022) has been rescheduled. Previously, the Tripura TRB STSE-2022 Selection Test for Special Educator (STSE) 2022 was set to take place on June 12th, 2022.

Online applications are invited from Indian nationals with permanent residence in Tripura for the “Selection Test for Special Educator (STSE)-2022” from 27.04.2022 (from 04 P. M.) to 05.05.2022 (up to 04 P. M.) for selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of Special Educator under the Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura.

Tripura TRB 2022 Vacancy

TRB Tripura Special Educator has released a total of 200 vacancies in the state of Tripura. Eight of the sanctioned 200 posts are allocated for PH categories. (Locomotor-02, Partially deaf and hard of hearing-03, Blind and Low Vision-03). Four of the two hundred authorised positions are designated for ex-servicemen. (UR-02, SC-01, ST-01)

Candidates who are chosen for the position will receive a monthly pay of INR 20475.

Tripura TRB 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the post will be as given below.

Age

As of April 11, 2022, the age limit is 40 years. SC/ST/PH and Government Servant upper age limits are relaxed by 5 years, provided that government employees in the SC/ST/PH category do not receive additional relaxation beyond the usual 5-year relaxation given to them. Ex-Servicemen (ESM) have an upper age limit that can be relaxed according to regulations.

Educational Qualification

• BEd. (Special Education) or its equivalent from an RCI certified institution and must be registered with RCI.
• Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok is desirable.
• Candidates from the SC/ST/PH categories will be permitted a 5% relaxation in their qualifying marks.
• Equivalency of a Degree (Academic) (if any) will be determined by the Education (School) Department’s Equivalence Committee. In this case, the Equivalence Committee’s decision will be definitive. Candidates claiming degree equivalency will be authorised to take the “Selection Test for Special Educator (STSE) – 2022” on a provisional basis. Such a candidate must submit an application to the Board by May 15, 2022, along with a self-attested photocopy of the mark sheet from the degree for which equivalence is sought. The application will be referred to the Equivalence Committee for review, and the committee’s judgement will be final.
• If a candidate applies for STSE and receives a sufficient score to be recommended for recruitment, but the Equivalence Committee determines that she or he lacks the equivalent degree required for the position for which he or she applied, his or her candidature will be rejected without further notice, and his or her name will not be recommended for recruitment to the concerned department.

• Upload the necessary details and the documents required like photographs and signature scans.
• From the ‘Apply Online’ link on the candidate’s homepage, candidates can apply for the “Selection Test for Special Educator (STSE) – 2022.”
• Make a payment via the link provided on the applicant’s home page.
• Candidates with a CGPA score should click “verify if CGPA is applicable” and input the exact CGPA per cent equivalent. Calculate the exact equivalent percentage of CGPA.
• Take a printout hard copy of the application form and e-receipt.

Application Fees

• The test costs for UR applicants are Rs. 300 (Rupees three hundred only) and Rs. 200 (Rupees two hundred only) for reserved applicants (SC/ST/PH) (Rupees two hundred only). Once fees have been paid, they cannot be returned or used for a future exam. Candidates must pay their test fees online (using debit or credit card & internet banking only). No other payment method will be accepted. Charges from the bank may apply.
• If a candidate pays less than the real fee amount owing to incorrect category selection or otherwise, her/his candidature will be considered cancelled, even if she/he receives pass marks or higher on the test.

Tripura TRB 2022 Exam Pattern 

The STSE-2022 question paper will contain 150 one-mark Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). For each question in the Question Booklet, candidates must shade/darken the correct answer choice from among the four choices. There will be no penalties. The question paper will only be available in English and Bengali (other than the language Paper). OMR Answer\sSheet for marking responses and instructions etc. will be in English exclusively.

Note: In the event of a disagreement or ambiguity between two versions of the Question Booklet, the English version will be considered the authentic/final version.

Tripura TRB 2022 Exam Centers

TRBT will exclusively conduct the Graduate Teacher Selection Test (STSE-2022) in Agartala. The location of the test will be sent to candidates via their downloaded Admit Cards. Candidates will not receive any written correspondence. The Board will not pay any TA or DA to candidates who take the test.

Tripura TRB 2022 Selection Process

The selection process consists of an online exam and then a document verification.

For the examination of answer scripts, a completely automated system is used, with the results prepared using the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technique. There is no provision for re-assessment of the OMR Answer Sheet or re-counting of the marks scored under the foregoing process because the evaluation will be error-free. There will be no correspondence in this regard.

Tripura TRB 2022 Admit Card

• Each candidate who has paid the fee and completed the online application by submitting her/his photograph and full signature according to the guidelines will receive an admit card. As per the Board’s announcement, candidates can download their admit cards from the TRBT’s official website.
• The candidate is advised to double-check that the information on the Admit Card matches the information on the Acknowledgement Page. If any discrepancy in the Admit Card is discovered, the candidate must promptly submit it to the Board for repair.
• The Board will not provide an Admit Card to a candidate if there is a discrepancy in the candidate’s photograph or full signature. Under no circumstances will a candidate who does not have a valid Admit Card be allowed to take the test.

Tripura TRB 2022 Answer Key

• After the tests begin, TRBT’s official website will post preliminary answer keys. Candidates are encouraged to read through it and, if they have any questions about any of the tentative answer keys, to submit their challenges online along with payment of the required challenge costs.
• Final answer keys will be fixed and uploaded over time after TRBT receives suitable feedback from the concerned subject expert on the challenges that have been received (if any). After the final answer keys have been uploaded, no more appeals will be considered. It is important to remember that the subject expert’s opinions on the feedback will be taken as complete and final.

In STSE-2022, a merit list will be generated from applicants who score at least 50% (75 out of 150) in the UR category and 45 per cent (68 out of 150) in the SC/ST/PH category.
