The Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) is organized by the Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. This test helps to evaluate the candidates and select them for the post of the teacher (from class 1to class 8). AP TET is a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted to evaluate the eligibility of candidates for the posts of teachers in State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools for class 1 to 8 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. In this article, we have provided the details about APTET preparation tips.

Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted in two papers i.e. Paper I & Paper II. Candidates who want to teach from class 1 to 5 will be writing Paper I. Candidates who want to want to teach from class 6 to 8 will be appearing for Paper-II and those who want to teach from class 1 to 8 must appear for both the papers i.e. Paper I and Paper-II.

The candidate who is planning to appear for AP TET Exam must follow these few for the preparation of the examination.

Below are the 5 essential steps to keep in mind before starting the preparation:

  • Make Time Schedule.

           It is very important for the candidates to schedule the time for preparation. A time table for the preparation of the exam is a must thing every candidate should do.

  • Prefer good study material.

A good study material does matter for candidates and the right study material for the higher preparation of examination. Candidates have to study the latest and simplified study materials.

Sample test and mock test can help a lot for the preparation of the exam.

  • Go with previous year’s question paper.

Going through all the previous year’s question paper, candidates will have an idea of how much time is often consumed by them within the examination and also they will have an idea of what type of questions comes in examination. It is very important for the candidates to go through the previous year’s question paper and appear for the mock test.

  • Prefer Syllabus and Exam Pattern.

The most impost substantial preparation plan is knowing the syllabus and the exam pattern very thoroughly and this is prescribed by the authority for the candidates who are appearing for an exam. The exam pattern will help you know the structure of the question paper and the syllabus will help you cover the topics for the examination. These two aspects should be noted in high priority for the preparation of the exam.

  • Make Short Notes.

Every candidates should always make notes while studying for the examination. It is very helpful to make short notes from the syllabus to know better. With the help of these short notes, a candidate can complete the syllabus and utilize the maximum time.  These short notes will also help the applicant to revise a few days before the examination. The applicants need to have a revision on a regular basis.

The AP TET examination is a state eligibility test conducted for aspirants who want to become a teacher for class 1 to class 8. The syllabus for the examination, the exam pattern, dates and so on play a very important role for the candidate but more important to all this preparation is one of the aspects which is needed to be kept as a very high priority.
