IBPS Clerk Salary and Job Responsibility

IBPS Clerk Exam 2019 Pattern

The procedure includes two phases which includes two online examinations. One has to qualify the preliminary test to write the main exam.  There is no interview after the main exam. The final result will be listed based on the marks secured in main examination. More details about each parts is explained below

Exam Phase 1: Preliminary

Preliminary exam contains objective type and 1 mark questions. The total time given to attempt all the questions is 1 hour. Total 100 questions are given. Maximum mark is 100. The subjects covered in this stage are given below

The exam has sectional timing for each subject. The test will be available in both English and Hindi language. Candidate can select the language as per their need. Wrong answers will be marked negative mark of 0.25. There is no mark reduction for unattended questions. The marks will be normalized to equalize the difficulty level of the questions in different sections.  Section or subject wise minimum cutoff should also be scored by the candidate. Maximum final score is 100. 

Exam Phase 2: Mains

The main exam covers 190 questions with a total mark of 200. The total time allotted is about 160 minutes.  The subjects covered in this section are given below
