Kerala PSC Junior Lab Assistant Job Profile 2022

1. In consultation with scientific teachers, weekly preparation and execution of class-based practical’s and activities.
2. Providing students with guidance on how to conduct practical’s and activities.
3. Maintaining an attendance record for students who are participating in practical work.
4. Procurement of laboratory materials/equipment in accordance with standards, in conjunction with the respective Science Teacher and the Institution’s Head.
5. Maintaining consumable and non-consumable registers, as well as a breakage register.
6. Ensure that laboratories are equipped with (a)adequate safety equipment/s and (b)a First Aid Box stocked with necessary medications and supplies.
7. Ensure that the apparatus is cleaned and returned to its proper location after the practical’s are completed.
8. Maintain a clean and ordered laboratory with suitable labels on flasks carrying chemicals, materials, and other items, and create an index of the items that can be pasted on the cupboard, etc.

Kerala PSC Junior Lab Assistant 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

18-36. The upper and lower age limitations for each post are detailed in the selection / notification for that post. Normally, SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year relaxation while OBC candidates receive a 3-year relaxation.

Educational Qualification

Pre-Degree/Plus Two Course or Equivalent Exams including Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects/VHSE (MLT)

2. Candidates must register on the official website using the ‘One Time Registration’ option.
3. Candidates who have already registered can apply by entering their User-ID and password into their profile.
4. Candidates must simply click the ‘Apply Now’ button on the respective post in the Notification Link to apply for a position.
5. Candidates should print or save a soft copy of their online application for future reference.
6. Candidates with an ADHAAR card should add it in their profile as an I.D. proof.
