National Housing Bank has called for recruitment to various Specialist officer posts. The recruitment is either regular or contract based. The posts included are as given below-

NHB SO Recruitment 2020 – Required Eligibility Conditions
The eligibility criteria set by National Housing Bank (NHB) for the all the Specialist Officer posts in the recently released NHB SO 2020 recruitment is as mentioned below. Following factors has to be satisfied by the candidates to be eligible to apply for the post-
1. Nationality
A candidate must be either-
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal , Bhutan or
(c) a Tibetan refugee who came to India with the intention of permanently settling in India, before 1st January, 1962 or,
(d) Also a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India is eligible to apply.
Note: Candidate belonging to categories (b), (c) & (d) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by Government of India.
2. Age limit
- Maximum upper age of the candidate applying for Regular Posts shall not exceed 56 years as on 01.08.2020.

(a) Professional certification in GARP, or (b) Professional Risk Management Certification from PRMIA Institute; (c)Also candidates who is a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst charter awarded by CFA Institute, or Designated as Chartered Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or equivalent abroad, or Designated as a Cost and Management Accountant by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, or equivalent abroad |
Five year’s experience in corporate credit and risk management at the level of Assistant General Manager or above in one or more PSBs/ having similar roles and responsibilities in one or more regulated lending entity, with minimum experience of one year in corporate credit and one year in risk management.
Also candidates are required to have good understanding of market risk and/or liquidity management and/or operational risk, with exposure to analytics being an added desirable experience. |

Here we will provide step by step guideline on how to apply for the exam-
- Firstly Candidates must Login to the official website National Housing Bank website www.nhb.org.in
- On the home page Click on the tab “Opprortunities@NHB” ,then select the tab “CURRENT VACANCIES”
- In Current Vacancies Select “Recruitment of Specialist Officers in various Scales on Regular/Contractual Basis – 2020”
- Next click on “Apply Online” which will open a new screen.
- To register application, candidates must select the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Please note down these also you will receive Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password.
- Verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change can be made after clicking the final “Submit Button”.
- Save the details entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab.
- Now you can can proceed to fill other details in the form, upload Photo, Signature, left thumb impression and a hand-written declaration as per the Guidelines for Scanning and Uploading of Documents.
- Next click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment.
- Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before final submission. After ensuring every detail given is correct Click on ‘Submit’ button.
