The NICL Assistant eligibility criteria are:

Nationality
Only the following candidates can apply for NICL Assistant notification 2024 pdf:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 intending to permanently settle in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
Other than Indian Citizens, all candidates should provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
