SBI PO Selection Process 2023

The initial procedure for the SBI PO recruitment is the preliminary exam and the candidates who are eligible from the prelims exam will move forward to the mains exam. The candidates who are eligible from the mains exam can move forward to the GD and interview section. The SBI PO selection procedure is as follows:

Prelims Exam
SBI PO pre result: It is an online Computer-based examination with 60 minutes duration. There will be 100 questions from three sections- English(30), Quantitative Aptitude (35), and Reasoning Ability(35). There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.

SBI PO Mains Exam
Again, it is an online objective Test for 200 marks and a Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The objective test is having four sections with 155 questions and a total of 200 marks. The topics are Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General or Economy or Banking Awareness, English Language. There is sectional timing and the total time duration is three hours.
The Descriptive Test is of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks. And, it will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing and Essay). However, the candidates should clear the descriptive test to qualify for the interview.
The qualified candidates will be shortlisted for Group Exercise and Interview. The Group Exercise will be for 20 marks and the Interview will be out of 30 marks.
SBI PO Final Result
The aggregate of Mains and Group Exercise and Interview will be taken for the final merit list. The Final Cut-off after the Normalization of marks will be published on the official page of SBI careers. And, the total marks will be out of 100(after normalization- Main Examination(75 marks)+ Group Exercise and Interview (25 marks).
