The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection publishes the IBPS RRB Exam Pattern (IBPS). Preliminary and main written exams are administered in accordance with the exam schedule, and an interview follows. Preliminary exams last 45 minutes each. The IBPS RRB Mains exam lasts for two hours.
- The exams will be conducted in an online mode that is a computer-based test.
- Each paper has objective type multiple choice questions only.
- Candidates will have an option to answer the questions in Hindi or English language.
- Also, they will have to choose between English and Hindi as one of the sections for the exam.
- There is a provision of negative marking as well. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 or ¼ mark will be deducted.

Officer Scale-II applicants must take a single online test, and those who pass will be shortlisted to appear in a common interview for ultimate hiring across various RRBs. The 2 positions available at Scale II are as follows:

The post-wise and category-wise vacancies for the IBPS RRB recruitment 2024 (CRP RRBs XIII) exam are announced along with the notification on 7th June 2024.
