Kerala PSC Confidential Assistant 2026 – Age Limit & Relaxation

Applicants should be:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years

Candidates born between 02 January 1986 and 01 January 2008 (both dates included) are eligible.

Age Relaxation

The following age relaxations are applicable as per Kerala PSC rules:

• OBC (Other Backward Communities): Eligible for the usual age relaxation.
• SC/ST Candidates: Eligible for the usual age relaxation.
• Maximum Upper Age Limit: Under no circumstances shall the upper age limit exceed 50 years, including all applicable relaxations.

Age Relaxation for Provisional Employees

Candidates who have worked as provisional employees in the Kerala Live Stock Development Board Ltd. are eligible for additional age relaxation equal to their period of provisional service, subject to a maximum of five years, provided they were within the prescribed age limit at the time of their first provisional appointment.

To claim this benefit, candidates must produce a service certificate showing:

• The period of provisional service.
• That they were not working in regular service during the provisional appointment.

Regular employees of the institution are not eligible for this concession when applying for further appointments.
