Important Instructions Mentioned in the Kerala PSC ECG Technician Grade 2 Rank List 2026
The Kerala PSC has included important conditions and instructions along with the ECG Technician Grade II ranked list. Candidates should read these instructions carefully.
1. Validity of the Ranked List
The ranked list will remain in force until a new ranked list is published after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or until the expiry of three years, whichever is earlier.
Candidates will be advised for appointment according to the reservation and rotation rules applicable at the time, against vacancies reported to the Commission while the ranked list remains active.
Inclusion in the ranked list does not guarantee appointment. Advice depends on the availability of reported vacancies. Candidates remaining in the list when it is cancelled will not have any claim for appointment solely because their names were included in the list.
2. Answer Sheet Printout – Application Fee Rs. 335
For the online or descriptive examination, rechecking and revaluation of answer sheets are not permitted.
However, candidates who wish to obtain a printout of their answer sheets can submit an online application through their Kerala PSC One Time Registration (OTR) profile.

Applications submitted through email, post (Tappal) or directly will not be accepted. A candidate will receive a copy of the answer sheet only once.
3. Verification of Community Details
The community details included in the ranked list are based on the information provided by candidates in their application forms and supported by the necessary documents.
Candidates who find any discrepancy in their community details should inform the District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission, District Office, Thrissur – 680020, within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list.
Failure to report discrepancies within the specified period may affect the reservation benefits applicable to the candidate.
4. Relinquishment of Claim for Appointment
Candidates who do not wish to be considered for appointment from the ranked list must submit a relinquishment application in the prescribed format issued by the Kerala PSC.

- Relinquishment application in the prescribed format.
- Attestation by a Gazetted Officer of the State or Central Government.
- Signature, name, designation and office seal of the attesting officer.
- Notarized affidavit.
- Self-attested copy of a photo identity proof listed in the General Conditions.
Relinquishment applications received within 15 days from the date of publication of the ranked list, along with the required documents, will be considered against vacancy requisitions pending with the Commission up to the finalisation of the ranked list.
After publication of the ranked list, relinquishment requests will be considered only if received on or before the date of receipt of the vacancy against which the candidate is to be advised.
