Educational Qualification:
- Graduation is mandatory.

- Chest: 81.28 cm (minimum) with 5.08 cm expansion

Kerala PSC SI Selection Process 2025
The selection process for the Kerala PSC Sub Inspector (SI) recruitment is designed to assess the candidates’ physical, mental, and academic capabilities. Below are the stages of the selection process:
1. Written Examination
- The first stage is a written examination, which evaluates the candidate’s knowledge of subjects relevant to the role.
- Only those who qualify in the written test will proceed to the next stages.
2. Physical Measurement
- Physical measurements of candidates will be taken to ensure compliance with the prescribed standards.
- Candidates not meeting the required measurements will not be allowed to participate in the Physical Efficiency Test.
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

4. Certificate Verification

5. Final Merit List
- The final selection will be based on performance in the written examination and PET.
- Candidates from the Ministerial Staff and Constabulary Wing will be selected purely on merit. Reservation and rotation rules apply only for Open Market candidates.
6. Training and Probation
- Selected candidates will undergo 1 year of training at the Police Training College followed by 10.5 months of practical training in a district.
- After training, candidates will be on probation for 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years.
- Stipends during training will be provided as per government norms.
