How to Apply for SBI PO Exam 2023
SBI PO recruitment process is completely an online process. Follow the steps given below to apply:
- Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile number which should be kept active till the declaration of results.
- Scan the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration. Click here to know more about handwritten declaration
- Visit SBI’s official page and open the Online Application Form, available under ‘Current Openings.
- Carefully fill the application form. Before submitting the form ensure that all the information entered are correct.
- On saving complete/ partially complete application, a provisional registration number and password is generated by the system. Note down the registration number and password.
- Pay the application fee.
- On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated.
- Take a print out of the e-receipt and application form.

SBI PO Application Fees
Candidates have to pay an application fee while applying for the vacancy. The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates. The application fee for various categories are as follows:

General Guidelines
- Online application will not be registered unless candidates upload photo, signature, left-hand thumb impression and hand-written declaration as specified.
- In case the photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression & hand written declaration is unclear, the candidate may edit his/ her application and re-upload them.
- Candidates should carry the same photograph while appearing for the exam.
- In case of any problem in filling up the form, payment of fee/ intimation charges, queries may be made at telephone no. 022-22820427 (between 11:00 AM to 06:00 PM on working days) or lodge their query on http://cgrs.ibps.in. Candidates should mention ‘RECRUITMENT OF PROBATIONARY OFFICERS IN STATE BANK OF INDIA – 2023’ in the subject of the email.
- Request for change/ correction in any particulars (including category) in the application form, once application is finally submitted, will not be entertained under any circumstances.
- Candidates are advised not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability/ failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam.
- Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate.
- The original documents regarding eligibility criteria and proof of date of birth should be
produced for verification on the date of interview.
