SBI PO 2023 Vacancy has been announced along with SBI PO Notification 2023. For FY 2023-24, the State Bank of India has announced a total vacancy of 2,000 posts of Probationary Officers. Let’s have a look at the break-up of this year’s SBI PO Vacancy.

SBI PO 2023 Exam Pattern

The selection process consists of two stages of COMPUTER BASED TESTS (CBT) following the group discussions and the interview.

SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2023

• There will be no sectional cut-off.
• There will be 0.25 marks negative marks for each wrong answer.
• The marks scored in the Preliminary Examination will be of qualifying nature and it will not consider for the final merit list for selection.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 2023

• The Main Examination itself has two parts; the Computer Based Test (CBT) (200 marks ), and Descriptive Test (50 marks).
• The Descriptive Test will be for 30 minutes, 50 marks. Questions will be to test the candidate’s knowledge in the ENGLISH language. So the questions will be either Letter writing or Essay.

Group Exercise and Interview

The group discussion and interview is the final phase for the candidates who are looking forward for the SBI PO position. The candidates can consider this as a crucial phase and prepare well for this session. The final merit list will be as per the performance in the interview and the group discussion.

• The Group Exercise will be for 20 marks and the Interview is for 30 marks.
• The marks scored in the Stage 02 Main Examination (both in the CBT and the Descriptive Test), will be added with the marks scored in the Group Exercise, and Interview for preparing the final merit list.
• The candidates score in the Main Examination (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 marks and that of the Group Exercises, and Interview scores (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25 marks. So the final merit list marks will be out of 100 marks.

While in group discussion

The candidates will be assigned to talk on a certain topic along with the group. This is where you can introduce your valid points and bring up your innovative ideas. But the goal of group discussion is not just to get the most exciting points about the topic, but to get the individual perspectives as a group. This can include how the candidates is behaving to other candidates, how they are acknowledging each other and give space to others to talk, how they are motivating the team and bringing the team spirit and causing a positive vibration among the group. Thus, how the candidate can work in multiple roles of an employee, leader, listener etc will be evaluated there.

SBI PO Eligibility 2023

SBI PO eligibility criteria are given here. The candidates have to go through the eligibility criteria and understand the qualification mentioned by the SBI for the PO position. Age

Applicants must be above 21 years and below 30 years as on November 01, 2021. Applicants must have been born between April 01, 1999, and April 02, 1990 (both days inclusive). Age relaxations as per the government norms are applicable.

SBI PO Salary 2023

The starting basic pay is Rs. 27,620/- in the scale of Rs. 23700-980/7- Rs. 30560-1145/2- Rs. 32850- Rs. 1310/7-42020 for the Junior Management Grade Scale-I. The selected candidates will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A, C.C.A, Medical, and other allowances. The CTC be a minimum of 8.20 lakhs and a maximum of 13.08 lakhs depending on the place of posting and other factors. At the time of joining, candidates will have to execute a Bond for a value of 2.00 lac to serve the Bank for a minimum period of three years.
