SBI CBO
The State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications from eligible commercial/ schedule bank employees towards the SBI Circle Based Officers (CBO) positions. Across India, SBI will hire 3850 candidates for 07 circles.
Responsibilities
They will join as circle based officers and will have to serve a probation period of 6 months. During probation, their consistency and effectiveness with the work are observed. Most of the work is as similar to the post of SBI PO.

Career Growth
The circles are Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Maharashtra. Candidates who shall be recruited as Circle Based Officers will be on a probation for a period of 6 months.
Continuous assessment will be done during the 6-month probation to determine if the candidate is fit and suitable for the post. After completing the probation and qualifying the assessment, candidate will be confirmed in the service of the Bank in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). Selected candidates in general cadre and will be governed by the promotion policy applicable for Bank’s general cadre officers. Therefore, it is a very attractive career option. The selected candidates will not be entitled to inner-circle transfer up to his/ her promotion to SMGS-IV Grade OR 12 years of service, whichever is later.
Pay Scale
The Starting Salary of Recruited Candidates is in the scale of JMGS-1. That will translate to Rs. 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7-42020).
