Union Public Service Commission has now published the UPSC Civil Services Mains 2021 DAF 2 (Detailed Application Form) on their official website. It is time to apply for the personality test. All candidates who have cleared the mains examination can now apply for the personality test through the website. The official application form is available on the website upsc.gov.in. The applications for UPSC Civil Services Mains DAF 2 2021 will be open till 6 PM on 24 March 2022.

UPSC Civil Services Mains 2021 DAF 2 OUT
UPSC had conducted the Civil Services Mains Examination 2021 from 7th January to 16th January 2022. The result of this exam was announced on 17 March 2022. All candidates who have cleared the mains examination are now qualified to attend the personality round. The dates of the personality test (interview) will be informed to the candidates in due course. Interviews will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069.
Detailed Application Form II (DAF II) is the form to be filled by candidates who have been declared as qualified in the main exam. Candidates who are appearing for the interview are required to select the services in the order of preference. The selected students can appear for the Personality Test (Interview) wherein selections will be made for the Indian Administrative Services, Indian Police Service, Indian Foreign Service and other Central Services for Group A and Group B.
All candidates are required to mandatorily indicate the order of preferences only for those services participating in the Civil Services Examination for the year, for which he is interested to be allocated to, in the on-line Detailed Application Form-II (DAF-II). With this Form, a candidate will also be required to upload documents/certificates for higher education, achievements in different fields, service experience, OBC Annexure (for OBC category only), EWS Annexure (for EWS category only), etc.

How to Fill DAF II?
1: Who was the first woman President of India?
- Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. upsc.gov.in.
- In the homepage, click on the flashing notification that reads ‘UPSC CSE Mains DAF 2 2021’.
- In the new page, click on ‘Click Here for login’.
- Enter your Login ID (Roll number), password and captcha
- The Detailed Application Form will appear on the screen.
- Read the form and fill in all the details carefully.
- Finally submit the form.

If a candidate fails to submit DAF-II before the time or date, it will be considered that the candidate has no preference to make for Services and Zones/Cadres as also he has nothing to furnish/upload viz. documents/certificates for higher education, achievements in different fields, service experience, OBC Annexure (for OBC category only), EWS Annexure (for EWS category only), etc.
UPSC Civil Services Mains 2021 Results
The result of the main exam was released on 17 March 2022. Candidates can access the results through the official website. The final result will be announced after the completion of Personality Test (Interview).
