Common tests: KPSC holds one common test for Sl. No. 1 to 3, 8 to 13, 14 to 16 and 18 & 19.
PSC Confirmation: Which Exams Need It?
Confirmation is not required for:
- Sl. No. 1 to 4 (Assistant Director of National Savings and Reporter Gr. II)
- Sl. No. 8 to 13 (Sub Inspector and Armed Police Sub Inspector Main Examinations)
Confirmation is required for Sl. No. 5 to 7 and 14 to 23. The confirmation window is 26/10/2026 to 14/11/2026. Submit it through your KPSC One Time Registration profile.
Exam centre tip: While confirming, you can choose the district of your Communication Address as your exam centre. If you want a different district, update your Communication Address in your Profile first, then submit the confirmation. KPSC advises candidates to confirm only after making these changes.
Medium of Exam
For the Main Examinations of Assistant Director of National Savings and the Sub Inspector posts, the PDF lists the medium as:
- Parts I, II, III and VI: English and Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada
- Part IV: English
- Part V: Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada
Reporter Gr. II is conducted in Malayalam (Lower), and the Station Officer, Assistant Engineer, Junior Instructor, Cath Lab Technician and similar posts are in English.

Important Rules for Exam Day
- Admission ticket: Download it from your KPSC profile once it is available. The time and venue are printed on it.
- Original ID proof: Carry the original of one valid ID, such as Voter ID, Passport, PAN Card, Driving Licence, Aadhaar, KPSC One Time Verification Certificate or a photo ID card from a government department. Candidates without original ID proof will not be allowed into the exam hall.
- Syllabus: Questions from other topics related to the educational qualification prescribed for the post can also appear, not only the “Main Topics” in the syllabus.
- Answer key: After each exam (except Written Test / Dictation cum Transcription Test), KPSC publishes a provisional answer key in candidate profiles and on its official website. You can submit complaints only through your profile, within 5 days of publication.
