Kerala PSC Forest Officer Rank List – Important Instructions

The Kerala PSC has published several important instructions along with the Forest Officer Rank List. Candidates should carefully read these conditions before proceeding with further formalities.

1. Validity of the Ranked List

The ranked list will remain in force until a new ranked list is published after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or until the expiry of three years, whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised for appointment based on vacancies reported to the Commission during the validity of the list, following applicable reservation and rotation rules. Inclusion in the ranked list does not guarantee appointment.

2. Rechecking of OMR Answer Sheets

Candidates cannot apply for revaluation of their answer scripts. However, they can request rechecking through their Kerala PSC One Time Registration profile by paying a fee of ₹85. The application must be submitted online through the official website within 15 days from the date of publication of the ranked list. Only one opportunity for rechecking is allowed after approval of the ranked list.

3. OMR Answer Sheet Photocopy

Candidates can apply for photocopies of their Part A and Part B OMR answer sheets through their One Time Registration profile. The prescribed fee is ₹335, payable through the online e-payment facility. Applications must be submitted within 15 days from the publication of the ranked list. A photocopy will be issued only once to each candidate.

4. Community Details Correction

The community details included in the ranked list are based on the information provided by candidates in their applications and supported by the necessary documents. Candidates who find any discrepancies in their community details should inform the District Officer, Kerala PSC District Office, Ernakulam – 682016, within one month from the date of publication of the ranked list.

5. Relinquishment of Claim

Candidates who do not wish to continue their claim for appointment advice must submit a relinquishment application in the prescribed format to the Kerala PSC District Office, Ernakulam. The application should include the required attestation, notarised affidavit and self-attested photo ID proof. Requests that do not follow the prescribed procedure will not be accepted.

6. Publication of Marks

Since a common OMR examination was conducted for this post, the marks of candidates included in the ranked list and the OMR test marks of all candidates will be published only after the completion of all related ranked lists, including NCA selections. The results of OMR answer script rechecking will be communicated later.

7. Destruction of OMR Answer Sheets

The Part A and Part B OMR answer sheets will be destroyed after completing six months from the date of finalisation of the last ranked list included in the common test conducted on 26 August 2025.
