Kerala Public Service Commission invites application from qualified candidates for recruiting Supervisors under ICDS. Only female candidates are eligible to apply as this post is reserved exclusively for women. The differently abled candidates are not eligible to apply for this post. A bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Work, Home Science or Psychology of a recognized University or a bachelor’s degree in any other discipline of a recognized University along with Balasevika Training Certificate issued by the Indian/State Council for Child Welfare or any other recognized Institutions or Pre-Primary Teachers Training Certificate from Institutions recognized by the Government is required to be eligible for applying to the Supervisor post.
Age Limit
The lower age limit is 18 and the upper age limit is 36 for candidates belonging to General Category. ie Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2000 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply for this post. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities can avail the usual age relaxation.
Application Procedure for Kerala PSC ICDS Supervisor
Eligible candidates shall apply online through the official website of Kerala Public Service Commission (http://www.keralapsv.gov.in) after registering under the One Time Registration Scheme. Those who have already registered shall log in to their profile using their User ID and Password. After logging in just click on the ‘Apply Now’ button corresponding to the notification. Application Fee is not required.
Selection Procedure for Kerala PSC ICDS Supervisor
Kerala Public Service Commission may conduct a written test depending on the number of applicants for the post. The candidates who are appointed on the basis of this written test shall be kept under probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Training shall also be provided for such persons for such period as specified by the Government from time to time.
Kerala PSC ICDS Supervisor Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The written test shall be an objective type test consisting of 100 questions to be answered in 75 minutes. The medium of questions shall be English. The expected syllabus is given below.
