Statement and Conclusion for RRB NTPC Exam 2022
Concept of the Statement and the Conclusion: A statement is followed by a set of conclusions in questions from the statement and conclusions group. Candidates must select the best suitable conclusion for the provided statement. The most common error candidates make while answering statement-conclusion questions is making assumptions while answering questions, which leads to their marking the erroneous choice as a conclusion for the provided statement. There can be no assumptions, facts, or information utilised to answer questions based on this premise, and the data given in the statement is the only fact. Candidates must understand that to address questions on this topic, they must first analyse the facts provided and then choose the most logical conclusion based on the statement.

Helpful Tips and Techniques for Solving Statement and Conclusion Questions
Given below are a few pointers to keep in mind while attempting statement and conclusion questions.
- If two or more sentences are utilised to construct a statement, the phrases must be connected and include a mutual contradiction.
- Do not seek out truthful views. The statement’s information is the only prerequisite for an applicant to give answers. There can be no assumptions.
- Read the statement carefully, looking for terms that appear in both the statement and the conclusions.
- If more than one conclusion is appropriate to the statement, applicants must verify that the conclusions they choose are related in some way.
- Don’t base your decision on the length of the statement or statements. Before drawing any conclusions, make certain that you have thoroughly read the statement.
- Negative marking causes candidates to lose a lot of marks on such questions. As a result, be certain that you do not guess the solutions to this topic.
