Super teacher Eligibility Test aka Super TET is an eminent exam that is conducted every year by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). Super TET Selection Process 2022
1: Who was the first woman President of India?
The Super TET selection procedure for the post of Assistant Teacher and Principal are quite different from one another. The individual selection process along with the final selection process is given briefly hereunder.
Assistant Teacher Selection Process
- The candidate must attend an examination of a total of 150 marks.
- Total Questions in the paper will be 150.
- The exam will be of an Objective Type.
- The duration of the exam is 2:30 hrs.
- The exam will be held in 2 Sections whereby the first section is compulsory for all and the second section is the Main Subject.
- First Section involves General Knowledge/ Reasoning/Current Affairs
- Second Section involves Language, Mathematics, Social Studies & Science.
- Candidates have to choose one subject from the Second Section.
- In the Language Section, candidates have to choose any one language i.e. Hindi, English or Sanskrit.
- The level of Examination will be Graduation based.

Principal Selection Process
- Candidates have to attend the exam which carries a total mark of 200 i.e. Paper 1 carries 150 marks & Paper 2 carries 50 marks.
- Total Questions in the exam is 200 i.e. Paper 1 with 150 questions & Paper 2 with 50 marks.
- The exam is of Objective Type.
- The total time of the exam is: Paper 1 – 1:50 hrs & Paper 2 – 1 hr
- The level of Examination is Graduation level.
- Educational Management and Administration Section will be only for the Principle post.
- For the Principle Post exam, the paper will be based on Education Department related Acts, Rules, education policy, Order, Commission/Committee, Recommendation, scheme, government order etc.

Super TET Final Selection
The final selection procedure for the SUPER TET (UP assistant teacher) 2022 incorporates various parameters which include 10% marks of total percentage obtained in high school, intermediate, graduation & teacher training certificate each and 60% weightage of the written exam of Super TET. So the overall cut off will be made based on the Written exam + Academic Marks weightage.

UP Assistant Teacher
Senior Secondary and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Graduation (or it’s correspondent) with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
OR
D.El.Ed/BTC from UP Government Institution
OR
4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
4 Year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc. Ed
OR
Graduation with at least 50 % marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)
And
Paper 2 TET Qualified (Class 6-8)
For Principal
