Eligibility Criteria for Kerala PSC Junior Language Teacher
Age Limit
- The age limit mentioned for the Sanskrit teacher is 18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 can apply for the position
- The age limit mentioned for the Arabic teacher is 18- 45. Only candidates born between 01.1976 and 01.01.2003 can apply for the position

Education Qualification
Sanskrit
- A Degree in Sanskrit conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala/
- A title of Oriental learning in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by any one of the Universities in Kerala./
- Oriental School leaving certificate (Sanskrit) issued by the Government of Kerala./
- A Pass in the preliminary examination in Sanskrit conducted by any one of the Universities in Kerala.
- A Pass in the Pre-University or Pre-Degree Examination from the Sanskrit College affiliated to the Universities in Kerala.
- A Pass in Sanskrit Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.
- A Pass in the Pre-Degree Examination with Sanskrit (Sahitya) and Sanskrit (Sastra) as Optional subjects conducted by the Arts or Science Colleges affiliated to the Universities in Kerala
- Should have cleared KTET

- A Degree in Arabic is conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala./ A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala./ A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University.
- A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala./A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first language./
- A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following/A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) was conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examination, Kerala./A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) was conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations,/A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Examinations, Kerala./A pass in the Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut
