ESIC UDC Salary Structure
The salary structure of an ESIC UDC employee is as per the 7th Central pay commission. Apart from the basic salary, an Upper Division Clerk enjoys perks in the form of Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel allowance and other allowances as per the rules from time to time.
The initial basic pay of Rs 25,500 can increase over a period of time to a maximum of Rs 81,100. An employee who joins as an Upper Division Clerk is eligible for a promotion as an Assistant with an initial grade pay of Rs 4200 after a minimum of 3 years of employment. After another 3 years, an Assistant can become a Social Security Assistant with an initial grade pay of Rs 4800.
