Bank of Baroda SO 2022 Eligibility Criteria

For the post of Specialist Officer, candidates must fulfill certain educational and age limit criteria as specified by the examination conducting authority. The detailed information regarding the Eligibility criteria of the paper is given below:

Age Criteria

The minimum age is 25 years. The maximum is 35 years. It can be different as per the post requirement. The age mentioned above is for the General category, for the reserved category there has been some relaxation which is mentioned below:

Educational Qualification

The educational criteria as required for the application of SO Post at Bank of Baroda for different posts is given in the table below:

• Legal MMG/S-II:
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Post Qualification Experience: A candidate is required to have minimum 3 years of experience as a law officer in the Legal department of a Scheduled Commercial Bank, Central / State Government or PSU or practicing at a Bar or Judicial Services.
• Legal MMG/S-III:
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Post Qualification Experience: A candidate is required to have minimum 5 years of experience as a law officer in the Legal department of a Scheduled Commercial Bank, Central / State Government or PSU or practicing at a Bar or Judicial Services.
• Wealth Management Services – Operations MMG/S-II:
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 2 Year (MBA or equivalent) or Post Graduation Degree or Diploma with specialization in Marketing / Sales / Retail / Finance.
  • Post Qualification Experience: A candidate is required to have minimum 5 Years of work Experience in working on Wealth Management Solutions for processing Wealth Products / Mutual Fund / Insurance Applications, etc.
• Wealth Management Services – Operations JMG/S-I:
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 2 Year (MBA or equivalent) or Post Graduation Degree or Diploma with specialization in Marketing / Sales / Retail / Finance.
  • Post Qualification Experience: A candidate is required to have minimum 5 Years of work Experience in working on Wealth Management Solutions for processing Wealth Products / Mutual Fund / Insurance Applications, etc.
• Wealth Management Services – Sales MMG/S-II:
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have 2 Year (MBA or equivalent) or Post Graduation Degree or Diploma with specialization in Marketing / Sales / Retail / Finance OR must have graduated from a recognized University with One-year Diploma/ Certification in Banking / Finance before joining any private Bank/ Public Bank.
  • Post Qualification Experience: A candidate is required to have minimum 4 Years of Work Experience in Sales / Distribution of Wealth / Mutual Fund / Insurance Products in Banks, Mutual Funds, NBFC’s etc.
• Wealth Management Services – Sales JMG/S-I:
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have graduated in any stream.
  • Post Qualification Experience: A candidate is required to have minimum 2 Years of Work Experience in Sales / Distribution of Wealth / Mutual Fund / Insurance Products in Banks, Mutual Funds, NBFC’s etc.

Bank of Baroda SO Application Process

Candidates who are eligible to apply for the paper and wish to apply can find the detailed application process here. Below are given the steps to apply for the Bank of Baroda SO Examination 2022:

Step 1: Candidates have to visit the official website of the Bank of Baroda to register for the SO examination.

Step 2: Register with your mobile number or e-mail ID. Once the registration is completed, a provisional registration number and password will be generated.

Step 3: Students are required to fill in the required details and use the same registration number and password for filing the complete application form.

Step 4: Upload the photograph and signature and other important documents required in the format, dimensions and file size as specified in the official notification.

Step 5: Now, Cross check all the important details before making the final submission of the application form. No changes will be made after that.

Step 6: After filling the form and uploading all the required documents, pay the requisite application fees. Submit the application fees online only.

Step 7: Candidates are advised to take the printout of the generated e-receipt and online application form and keep it safely for future reference.
