As part of its skill development programme, the State Bank of India invited applications from graduates below 28 years towards its three years SBI Apprentice programme 2022. This year SBI Apprentice 2022 notification is out with 8500 vacant posts. For the selection process, the bank will conduct two stages of screening, preliminary phase CBE and local language test. SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern 2022

The SBI Apprenticeship is a three-year training, which will help the aspirants to explore more job opportunities across the Indian banking system. The selection process has two stages, the first being a Computer Based Test and the final stage is to test the candidate’s proficiency in the local language of the state to which he/ she is applying.

Exam Pattern for Online Written Test

The candidates must go through the detailed syllabus for SBI Apprentice Exam 2022.

1. There will be 100 multiple choice questions in the SBI Apprentice online examination.
2. The duration of the test will be 1 hour and there will be a separate timing for each test i.e. 15 minutes for each section.
3. The questions will be in bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the questions of General English.
4. There will be a negative marking for incorrect answers. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Exam Pattern for Test of Local Language

SBI Apprentice exam pattern for Stage 2 consists of a Test of Local Language, which is mandatory for all Candidates. The language is specific to the state as mentioned above in the table.

Candidates who have a 10th or 12th mark sheet/certificate showing proof of that language are not required to give this test. They are eligible to move to the Medical Test of the selection process.

Exam Pattern for Medical Examination

The candidates who will qualify for the above-mentioned stages are eligible for the third stage. The sage 3 is of Medical Examination where the candidate needs to qualify the medical standard as according to the bank.

Syllabus for Test of Local Language

SBI Apprentice Local Languages for a Particular State:

The selection for engagement of apprentices would be based on the basis of online written tests and tests of the local language. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged as an apprentice.

SBI Apprentice Syllabus PDF 2022

There shall be a negative mark of .25 for every wrong answer. Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks for the further selection process. For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon. Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the Bank. There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual subjects. Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise.

• You must bring the admit card along with one photo identity proof such as Passport/ Aadhaar/ PAN Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/ Identity Card issued by School or College/ Gazetted Officer on the official letterhead in original as well as a self-attested Photocopy thereof.
• The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified local language of that State as mentioned in the notification. The local language test will be conducted as a part of the selection process. Candidates who produce SSLC or 12th standard mark sheet evidencing having studied the opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

Following are the steps for downloading the SBI Apprentice admit card 2022:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SBI Careers – sbi.co.in/web/careers or click on the direct link mentioned above to download the admit card.

Step 2: Scroll down the page, and click on “Current Openings at SBI”.

Step 3: Click on “Engagement of Apprentices Under The Apprentice Act, 1961 (Advt. No. CRPD/APPR/2021-22/10)”.

Step 4: Click on the “Download Online Exam Call Letter”.

Step 5: In the new window, enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and D.O.B./Password. Also fill the Captcha Box.

Step 6: Click on the “SUBMIT” button.

Step 7: Your Admit Card for the SBI Apprentice Online Exam is displayed on the screen. You can save the Admit Card in Pdf format or print the same as per your choice.
