Eligibility Criteria for Non Vocational Teacher Special Recruitment
Age Limit
The age limit mentioned for the special recruitment post by the Kerala PSC is 23-45 years. Ie, the candidates who are born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1998 can apply for the post.

Educational Qualification
- The candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% points given by any of the Universities in Kerala or equivalent eligibility.
- Ed Degree in the concerned topic taken after a regular program of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or eligibility acknowledged as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala.
- In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree in the concerned department as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala.
- In the absence of persons with a B.Ed Degree as specified in items (1) and (2) above, persons with a B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala.
- Must have passed the State Eligibility Test in the concerned subject for the post of Non-Vocational Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government.
