Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has started accepting applications from eligible applicants for the recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASI). Applications will be accepted until 5 February, 2022. Aspiring candidates should be aware that CISF will not be accepting online applications. All applications must be handed over to their respective DIsG (application receiving centers).

SSC CISF ASI Exam Date 2022
CISF will be recruiting personnel for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). Limited Departmental Competitive Examination are the exams conducted to recruit personnel from already existing staff. Only those applicants who have joined the force before 31 July, 2016 and have completed five years of service including basic training in the grade or five years combined regular service as Head Constable / GD, Constable / GD and Constable / Tradesmen (TM) as on 1 August, 2021 will be eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector. The date of the exam is yet to be announced. It will be a computer based test (CBT) with multiple choice questions. We will update you as soon we get the official notification regarding the exam date.

The recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector is done by the CISF through a five stage selection process. Only those candidates who pass all the stages will be considered for recruitment. Failure to pass in any of the stages will lead to the disqualification of the candidate. Hence it’s absolutely essential that the candidates be well aware of the process and work for success in all the tests.

SSC CISF ASI Written Exam 2022
CISF recruits Assistant Sub Inspectors through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). It conducts written examination to shortlist eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector. The written exam by CISF is the second stage of the selection process. Candidates who do not make it through this stage will be disqualified and will not be able to attend the next stages of recruitment. Aspiring candidates should thus make it a point to see that they are well prepared for the written exam.
Candidates aspiring to crack the written exam should be well aware of the following:
Exam pattern – Candidates should know the weightage given to each topics, duration of exam, mode and medium of exam. Having a clear idea about the pattern of exam will help candidates create an efficient study plan.
Syllabus – Candidates should have a clear understanding of the syllabus. This helps candidates to get hold of all the necessary tools for exam preparation.
Having a clear cut idea about the exam pattern and syllabus is equivalent to clearing the first stage of the preparation process.

The written exam will be a computer based exam with multiple choice based questions. The exam will be of 200 marks and the duration of exam will be three and half hours (210 minutes). Questions asked will be on the basis of topics mentioned in the table above. Candidates should secure at least 45% in category and 50% in aggregate to be considered for the next stage. Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates will be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks. Candidates belonging to the general category should score 100 out of the total 200 and those belonging to SC / ST should score 90 marks out of 200. Those who fail to score the afore mentioned minimum marks in both parts and / or aggregate will be disqualified.
The final appointment of candidates for the Assistant Sub Inspector post will be subject to the clearance of the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Candidates who make it through the written exam but fail in any of these tests will not be considered.
SSC CISF ASI 2022 Admit Card
The admit cards for the ASI exam will be issued as soon as the date and venue of exam is fixed. The candidates will receive their admit cards through speed post. Admit cards will also be uploaded in the official website of CISF. Candidates will also receive SMS in their registered mobile number. The candidates have to attach a photograph on the space provided in the admit card and carry it to the center of examination. Those who fail to present the admit card will not be permitted to attempt the exam. The candidates will have to sign the admit cards in the presence of a board member at the recruitment center.
Candidates should start their exam preparation as soon as their applications are submitted. The exams dates are yet to be announced so it is the right time to start preparing without worrying about the number of days left for the test.
