The CISF will be recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector (Executive) through LDCE. All eligible candidates can submit their applications along with the necessary documents through their respective DSiG (application receiving centers) by 5 February, 2022. According to the circular issued by CISF, there are a total of 647 vacancies for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector. The vacancies may increase or decrease by the time of final selection. The recruitment of candidates will be done through a five step process – checking of service records, written exam, Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Detailed Medical Examination. It is mandatory that candidates score the minimum cut off marks as required by CISF. Candidates should clear all the stages and be deemed ‘fit’ by in the medical examination to be considered for recruitment.

SSC CISF ASI Cut Off 2022
CISF will announce the cut off marks for the ASI exam as soon as the exams is over. The cut off marks may not be the same every year. The CISF recruits personnel for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). This exam is for selecting personnel who are already in service and are aspiring for a better grade. The written exam conducted by CISF will be of 200 marks. It will a Computer Based Test (CBT) with multiple choice questions. The duration of exam will be three and half hours (210 minutes). The topic wise breakdown of marks is given in the table below.

SSC CISF ASI Selection Process 2022
The candidates should score 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in each part. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste(SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) will be given a relaxation of 5%.
The cut off marks are as follows:
- General category: 100 marks aggregate
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 90 marks aggregate
It should be noted that attaining this cut off mark does not guarantee recruitment to the post. It will depend of factors like number of vacancies, candidates ability to get past all the stages of selection and reservations.

SSC CISF ASI 2022 Exam Details
It should be noted that candidates will get only three chances to attempt the LDCE written exam of Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI / Exe). Applications of candidates who have already exhausted the three chances will be rejected.
The results of the SSC Assistant Sub Inspector written exams are usually published within two months of the exam date. The date of result announcement for 2022 is yet to be announced. We will update you as soon as the results are out. The name of the candidates who have scored more than the cut off marks will be placed in the merit list. The final merit list will be announced after the completion of all the tests and their being declared ‘fit’ in the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) or Review Medical Examination as the case may be. Candidates can download their results from the official website by entering their username, password and registration number.
