The recruitment will be based n a three-tier selection process. It includes the prelims and mains which are in the objective form followed by the computer skill test.

ESIC UDC Result Preliminary Exam Selection Procedure
The first phase for the selection of Upper- Division clerks is the written exam. The prelims will be an objective paper. the total marks awarded will be 100 and the maximum time allotted will be 1 hour. The impacts acquired in Phase-I will be privileging in character. The qualifying nature of the exam makes the prelims more important. Each question carries two marks. Around 1/4 marks will be deducted as negative marks for each wrong answer.
