SSC Recruitment Notification 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
18 – 30 years as on 1 January 2022 i.e. candidates born not before 2 January 1992 and not later than 1 January 2004 are eligible to apply for these posts.
Note: Age relaxation is permissible as per government norms. Aspirants can check notification for details.
Educational Qualification

The applicant must satisfy any one of the following educational qualification:
Master’s degree of any established University in Hindi with English as a mandatory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level
or
Master’s degree of an established University in English with Hindi as an obligatory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
or
Master’s degree of an established University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as an obligatory or elective subject or as the medium of a exam at the degree level.
or
Master’s degree of an established University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as an obligatory or elective subject or as the medium of exam at the degree level
or
Master’s Degree of an established University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as obligatory or elective subjects or any of the two as a medium of exam and the other as an obligatory or elective subject at degree level and Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from English to Hindi & viceversa or 2 years ‟ experience of translation work from English to Hindi and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Application Forms must be submitted in only online mode @ the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.

Application process consists of mainly two parts. Online registration process followed by filling of online Application Form.
Step 1: Register yourself via one time registration process by providing your credentials like ID number, Name, DOB, Email ID, phone number etc.
Step 2: Once you create your login, login using your credentials.
Step 3: Fill in all the information requested like 10th marks, Name, Father’s name, etc.This completes the registration process.
Step 4: Once the registration process is complete, proceed towards the filling up of the application form for the post you desire to apply for.
Step 5: After filling this form, upload photograph and scanned image of the applicant’s signature.
Step 6: Verify all the information enter and submit.Keep a hard copy of the final form future reference.

Application Fees
INR 100/ (Rs one hundred only)is applicable for general category candidates. However women applicants and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation do not have to pay any application fees.

SSC Recruitment Notification 2022: Syllabus
Paper-I (CBT/Computer Based Examination): The questions will be designed to test the aspirant’ understanding of the languages and literature, appropriate use of words, phrases and idioms and ability to write the languages correctly, precisely and effectively. The question paper will be of degree level.
Paper-II (Descriptive/Translation and Essay): This paper will contain 2 passages for translation – 1 passage for translation from Hindi to English and another passage for translation from English to Hindi, and an Essay each in Hindi and English, to test the aspirants’ translation skills and their ability to write as well as comprehend the 2 languages appropriately, precisely and effectively. The level of the paper will be consistent with the educational qualifications of the applicant.
