Eligibility Criteria
Age
Candidates age shall be between 18 years to 35 years as per the notification date. Age relaxations according to the government norms can be availed by the eligible candidates.
Educational Qualifications
- Development Assistant:
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates) in aggregate or possess equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or any other Educational Institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section-3 of UGC Act, 1956.
- Development Assistant (Hindi):
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates) in the aggregate OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS candidates) in the aggregate.
Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
Exam Pattern
Group B post-exam consists of Three phases-Prelims, Mains, and Language proficiency test. All sections( Prelims and Mains) will be bilingual(English or Hindi) except for the English Language. Candidates can choose the language of their interest.
Each question will carry one mark. There will be negative marking for each incorrect attempt. 1/4th marks allotted to the question will be deducted as penalty for every wrong answer marked.
Salary
Development Assistant will be authorized to get a gross monthly income of Rs 32,000/-.
