GENERAL SELECTION PROCESS
OMR Test will be conducted as the first stage of the selection. For this the candidates must register as per “ ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission
Village Field Assistant (VFA)
Name of Post: Village Field Assistant
Type of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment
Department: REVENUE
Department Rank: The department rank of Village Field Assistant is just above last grade services.
Salary: Rs. 17,000-37,500/
Educational Qualifications : For this job Pass in SSLC or its equivalent qualification.
Minimum and Maximum age limits to apply for job village field assistant is 18 to 36.
Scope of the job: They deal with land surveying and check complaints related to illegal occupations etc-
PSC conducts OMR based objective type examination for Village Field Assistant post. There will be 100 questions in the question booklet. Date of examination is not yet published.
3. Simple Arithmetic and Mental Ability
VEO grade II post is next promoted to Block development officer.
Kerala PSC VEO Exam Syllabus 2019
Syllabus includes four parts as shown below
- Simple Arithmetic & Mental Ability
- GK & Current Affairs
- General English
- Regional Languages (Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada)
As per the notification, the Kerala PSC VEO examination will be held on October 12 2019, Saturday for Trivandrum (TVM) and Kozhikode (KKD) districts and on October 26, 2019, Saturday for Kollam (KLM), Idukki (IDK) and Kannur (KNR) districts. The exam date for other districts is not yet announced.
Kerala PSC VEO Exam Pattern 2019
The Kerala PSC VEO examination is conducted in OMR(Objective Multiple Choice)/online mode and has a total duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes for the exam. The maximum mark is 100. The medium of question include Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada (Part I,II,IV) and English (Part III)
