This is the first step included in the selection process. The candidates who qualify for this online preliminary examination will be shortlisted for the main examination. Prelims exam is a one-hour objective type examination including three subjects with a total of 100 marks. The candidates should note that there is a negative marking for objective tests. For every wrong answer, 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. If the question is left unanswered there will be no penalty marks. IBPS PO 2025 Mains Exam has introduced a descriptive paper in English subject. Mains exam includes a total of 4+1 subjects with a duration of 3 hours + 3 minutes on the whole. Personality Test
The candidates who pass the mains test will have to appear for the personality test. This will be presented to the interview panel. Although non-qualifying in nature this test is mandatory for the candidate to attend the Interview.
IBPS PO 2025 Interview Selection
The last stage of the selection procedure is the interview round which will be taken by the authorities of the organisation one-on-one to all of the candidates who have passed the main examination. The details related to the interview round will be available through email or mobile number of the candidates who have passed the main examination. The candidates who have been shortlisted in the main examination will be appearing for the interview for the CRP PO/MT- IX examination. The total marks allocated for an interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates). Interviews will be conducted by the participating organization. Interviews will be coordinated by the nodal banks in each State/UT and the IBPS and will be conducted at the select centres. IBPS PO 2025 Allotment
The candidates will be finally selected based on the marks obtained in the mains exam and the interview. The weightage ratio of the online mains exam and interview is 80:20. The minimum marks have to obtain even in the interview process to be considered for the final selection.
