The number of vacancies for the post pf Fireman is yet to be announced. It is expected to be announced shortly. There a total of 100 vacancies for the post of Firewoman.

The exact number of vacancies for the post of Fireman (Trainee) has not been declared by the Commission. However aspirants can apply for the post as it is expected that there will be a good number of vacancies.

There are a total of 100 vacancies for the post of Firewoman but the category wise vacancy for this post has not been announced. It is expected that the number of category wise vacancies will be announced soon.
Even though the number of vacancies for post of Fireman (Trainee) has not been announced yet, according to the notice released by the Commission (Category No. : 359/2019), there is one vacancy for Scheduled Caste Converts to Christianity.

Kerala PSC Fireman Previous Year Vacancy
The previous recruitment for the post of Fireman (Trainee) was done in the year 2018. Even though the exact number of vacancies had not been announced, quite a lot of people were recruited in that year.
Kerala PSC Fireman Exam Pattern
Candidates should have a clear idea about the exam pattern and the syllabus. An effective study plan can be made only on the basis of the syllabus and exam pattern. Kerala PSC will shortlist eligible candidates for the post of Fireman through a two stage process:
- Written Test
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The first stage of the recruitment process will be a written test. All the candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria put forth by the Commission will be called for the test. The written exam is an Objective OMR based exam. There will be 100 questions for a total of 100 marks. Every right answer will be awarded one mark and 1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be one hour and fifteen minutes.
