Staff Selection Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates to fill the vacant Multi Tasking Staff(MTS) – Non Technical positions across different departments. The official notification regarding this recruitment was released in February 2021. Following the notification, the application window was open for the eligible candidates to sublit the applications until the 21st of March 2021. Now, the Staff Selection Commission has notified that the written examination as a part of the selection process will be conducted in July 2021. SSC MTS Recruitment 2021
This year the Staff Selection Commission is expected to release a large number of openings to the post of Multi Tasking Staff(MTS) in the non-technical category. Even though the notification and the the application processes have already begun, the exact number of vacancies available is not known to the candidates until now. SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2021
SSC MTS selection process includes two stages of recruitment process. Stage 01 is the computer based test for 100 marks and the stage 02 examination is a descriptive type test.
Stage 01 – Preliminary level Computer Based Test(CBT)
The basic pattern of the computer based test conducted for the applicants of SSC MTS recruitment is as follows:
- Maximum Marks – 100
- Total Number of questions – 100
- Total Time – 90 minutes
Moreover, for every wrong answer 1/4 marks will be deducted from the candidates marks.

Stage 02 – Descriptive Test
The descriptive paper is for 30 minutes and for 50 marks. The candidates can write the paper either in English or in any other language that is mentioned in the 8th schedule. The question will be either to write a short essay or a letter. This stage is of qualifying nature and to test the basic language level of the candidates. Candidates can find the questions are of matriculation level.
