Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is about to begin the Computer Based Test for the recruitment of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D (Non-Gazetted) 2021 positions. The notification was released on October 2020, but the selection process has not yet commenced. In the previous years, a total of 473 vacancies were announced for SSC Stenographer Grade C and a total of 991 vacancies were announced for Stenographer Grade D post by Staff Selection Commission. This article shares the SSC Stenographer Vacancy 2021 and eligibility criteria also.
SSC Stenographer Vacancy 2021
The vacancies will be determined in due course. The updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from time to time (https://ssc.nic.in > Candidate’s Corner > Tentative Vacancy). The Staff Selection Commission releases SSC Stenographer vacancies through separate notification. The finalized vacancy list will be out only after publishing written examination. The SSC Stenographer Vacancy of the year 2021 is expected to be released soon. Hence we can check out the SSC Stenographer previous year vacancy. Almost 473 and 991 vacancies were announced in the year of for SSC Stenographer Grade C and D respectively. Therefore we can expect a good number of vacancies this year too.

SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria 2021
1: In a certain code language, ‘ROK’ is written as ‘44’ and ‘MIG’ is written as ‘29’. What will be the code for ‘TAL’ in that code language?
The main thing to be noted before applying for SSC Stenographer 2021 post is checking out the Eligibility criteria. Check out the eligibility criteria given below;
Age Limit
- The minimum age limit for both post is 18 years.
- The maximum age of the Grade C Stenographer candidate should be 30 years.
- Ans the maximum age limit for Grade D Stenographer is 27 years.

Educational Qualification
- The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either:
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962.
