Kerala PSC AE Civil Notification 2022 Overview

Kerala PSC has invited applications from graduates towards the Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts in Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd across Kerala. In making an appointment to the posts of Assistant Engineers (Civil) 10% of the total vacancies will be filled up by direct recruitment of candidates from the open recruitment. PSC has notified 29 vacant position for this post.

The selected candidates list published by the PSC shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier.

Kerala PSC AE Selection Process

The Kerala PSC Assistant Engineer selection process includes the written/online/OMR exam following the document verification. The candidates are supposed to attend the written exam initially. The eligible candidates can further move to the document verification. The candidates who are eligible must be aware about the documents to be submitted in this final phase of recruitment.

Kerala PSC Assistant Engineer Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

Should not have completed 50 years (Candidates must be born after 02.01.1972) are eligible to apply for this post. Usual age relaxation will be given to SC/ ST and Other backward Communities according to the government norms.

Education Qualification:

Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.

Associate Membership Diploma of the Institute of Engineers India in Civil Engineering or any other Diploma recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
OR
Pass in Section A & B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institute of Engineers India in Civil Engineering.

Applicants should produce Service Certificate in the form given below obtained
from the Board to the effect that they are working in the Board on a regular basis
as and when called for.
